This pad is smooth and looks exactly as pictures. Quality is good & my son loves it.I recently started a new office position, so I've been slowly purchasing things for my desk to make it more "me" friendly. The old mouse pad that was there was getting to the point it was wearing down and my mouse really wasn't working on it anymore. I started looking around and found this mouse pad. The colors are exactly like the picture shows. It really is pretty. It's also a very large surface area, which helps when I need to move my mouse around to several areas. It's a pretty thin pad, so I can't vouch to say how long it will hold up, but for the price I'm very satisfied with how it's working right now. It's working as it supposed to and I enjoy having something nice to look down at, so score. I would recommend this mouse pad.I wanted some thing that was more on the modern/glamorous spectrum. This fit the bill!I'll tell ya who miss persnickety, me. I got a new desk and my Apple Magic Mouse sounds like a steel girder being dragged down the highway by a truck driver asleep at the wheel. Not as many sparks but you get the idea. Well, this smooth as a babies butt mouse pad reduced that steel girder to the decibel level of a Rolex second hand. Now I can resume my duvet cover shopping in a clear soundscape of main stream culturally appropriated disco music. Sorry for name dropping my apple mouse.Great and cute product for the priceLove the look it's a bit heavy for mouse pad but love the print with the matching mouse and skin for my laptopI was drawn to this mouse pad because they looked very stylish and were cheap too! Definitely worth the buy! It's a nice little mouse-pad that seems to be holding up very well after using it every day for the past few months. No signs of the fabric lifting or the colors fading.Speaking of the colors, they're not nearly as vibrant as they are online, but they still look good visually!It does slip around a little bit on my desk, though. If this isn't a huge issue for you, I'd say go for it!This mouse pad isn't really black it's more like a deep navy blue but, it does look black against lighter colors like a white desk. I wouldn't recommend this for gaming nor comfort for obvious reasons and I'm not sure if what you mean by sheerness, I mean it's not see though. Over all I'm happy with my purchase and achieved my goal.Brilliant mouse pad! I love the colours, however it’s not as vibrant as portrayed which is a shame. Therefore the print quality could be better.Also to note, it’s smaller than I expected but for now it will do. I’m also thinking of purchasing a mouse pad with a cushion for wrist support, as this has none though it is smooth.I’ve noticed when using this pad in a landscape position, it’s small size is annoyingly noticeable so I prefer portrait. This gives my hand more room & the mouse (wired) space to move around.The grip, is fantastic! No issues so far, with peeling. Though the print material is fraying around the edges. Wear and tear so soon? Bit of a let down.But I would recommend this product.Hope this helps ?like any other mouse pad, material wise.
