I purchased this for my son's upcoming school year as part of his reading curriculum. I am very pleased Dover Children's Thrift Classics are now producing these beloved stories written over a hundred years ago by, Thornton Burgess. I could have gotten the curriculum version of these books, but I felt my son may wish to add these beloved volumes in the classic book form style to our in-home library, and hopefully pass them on down to his own children someday. I am happy enough with the quality produced from a well-known reputable company. I purchased two other classic tales that were not produced by Dover and they were of inferior quality at the same price point. I learned my lesson! All of my son's books in the next few years that follow this curriculum for classic literature will be purchased if produced by Dover, or in the form of the curriculum's readers. Get them, you won't regret it and the price is really great. Just get them all :)
