This is hands-down the best vertical mouse for gamers and high refresh display owners. I have tried maybe 10 different vertical mice, and all of them were stuck at 125Hz for the polling rate (default USB speed) and were choppy and stuttery on high refresh gaming. I own a 160Hz display and this was unacceptable. This mouse here can go up to 1000Hz polling rate, super fast and responsive. Perfect for owners of high refresh monitors or just any serious gamers.I've owned the Logitch G502 for a while, and used Razer mice before that, and the performance here is as good as any other. You don't have to compromise, the performance here is perfect. No problems on the Windows desktop and testing a few FPS games. Very satisfied. At first I thought the RGB lights would be tacky, but you can customize them a bit in the software (or turn them off completely) so it's actually good. They also turn off automatically when your PC sleeps or shuts down. Perfect.In terms of the ergonomics, it's not the best vertical mouse I've tried in terms of comfort, but it's adequate and still better than a standard mouse. It's actually smaller than the product page makes it look. I have larger hands and it's maybe a tad small, but still okay. The main button placement is good, and the back / forward buttons don't get in the way. I found the scroll wheel to work especially nice, and it's super quiet too. The rocker button is not super useful for me, but you can customize the keys, so maybe this could be good for some people.All things said, I've been using this for a few days and I can already feel a difference in my wrist and lower arm comfort. So I think it's working. It will probably take another week or so to feel completely natural, but it's not as steep a learning curve as some of the other vertical mice I've tried. It's unfortunate that there are not more vertical gaming mice out there, I guess it's a niche market, so this is basically the only one that is decent. Recommended.
